Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles on the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his college days Meloni had a keen interest in the field of acting. He then studied at his home institution, the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films as well as on TV, it is the actors portrayed in small screen that has earned him fame. The ability of his characters to appear from both sides of the law has captured the attention of viewers. The first show he worked on was a TV serial but he later played a detective for the NYPD. For his work in the small screen, he's been up for nomination numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The most striking of his facial traits is believed to be the sharp blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured the actor.
