Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small town situated in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. The West Island has a lot of communities. Many who've never been aware of it frequently think it is an island that is west-facing. The West Island is frequently referred to as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel but while that is true, her stay there was not long. Brugel grew to be a woman of a certain age in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. Her early ambition was to be a dancer but an increase in her height resulted in her outgrowing her dance partners. When she was awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. In the last 20 years, the roles played by Brugel in the world of television and on the screen have been varied. The role of Rita from the award-winning series The Handmaid's Tale was her most famous. Brugel was the sole Canadian actress in the season 1 which was viewed only at times.
